How to Track Gifts From Multiple Platforms in One Place

A practical guide for independent creators

If you accept gifts through more than two or three platforms, you already know the problem. One subject sends through OnlyFans. Another prefers FeetFinder. A regular sends through CashApp because that is what they used the first time and never switched, and a few still come through Throne or YouPay. By the end of a busy week, the actual total of what came in only exists in fragments, scattered across app notifications you half remember.

None of this is a discipline problem. It is a tooling problem. Every platform is built to track activity within itself, not across the other platforms your business also runs on.

Why spreadsheets stop working

A spreadsheet feels like a fix at first. It is not, past a certain volume. Every entry has to be typed in by hand, which means every entry depends on you remembering to do it in the moment, correctly, on a day when you are also doing everything else your business requires. The first missed entry breaks the running total, and a broken total is worse than no total, because it looks trustworthy while being wrong.

• A running total per subject, not just a total for the week or month

• A record that survives you forgetting to open the app that day
